Betrayal

Betrayal is the breaking or violation of a presumptive social contract, trust, or confidence that produces moral and psychological conflict within a relationship amongst individuals, between organizations or between individuals and organizations. Often betrayal is the act of supporting a rival group, or it is a complete break from previously decided upon or presumed norms by one party from the others. Someone who betrays others is commonly called a traitor or betrayer. Betrayal is also a commonly used literary element and is often associated with or used as a plot twist.

How ironic is dat? Betrayal.....

Hollywood has often potrayed betrayal as a twist in war,betrayal of couragous men,treacherous spies,or men who unwittingly or knowing commiting adultery.The real facts for betrayal,are,however,as easy as poking a skewer through a piece of rice paper.In our life,we make and leave betrayals in our wake.Betrayal,could be administered to ur fellow pet or animal,friends or parents.Its a simple transaction of trust.

LAWS

A foreigner asked me a question today,which made me think for a whole day.His question was; Singapore has so many rules and laws,but are they correctly enforced,and strongly adhered to?

I kept thinkin...yea...we hav so many rules,but do we really follow them?Downstairs,wen u throw a piece of paper on the floor,would a black-suit man walk up to u,and sae in an icy voice:" You juz littered,so comalong wid me,and i'm goin to hook on the bracelets on u"

Does dis happen?Ever saw dis?Whats the meaning of saying u'll be fined,wen the rules are only enforced once in a while?Take AIG,America's banking giant for another example.While the company was in a bankrupt crisis,their bossed are granting themselves $200 million bonusus.DOES DIS SOUND FAIR TO YOU?WHILE THE POOR PEOPLE SUFFER,DIE,CRY,MOAN,ACHE,WEEP,WHINE,GROAN AND PLEAD FOR A BETTER LIFE OUTSIDE,YOU CORRUPTED FOOLS JUZ SIT THERE,EATING GRAPES,KICK UR LEGS,ENJOY A CUPPA,AND RECIEVE A HUGE CHEQUE AND A PAT ON UR BACK BY URSELF?

And what did America do?Ha,their way,simple.Enforce a new tax rule,for 99% of dat fat cheque.BUT HOW DOES DIS HELP?WOULD DIS HELP THE PEOPLE?

The question comes back around,are the laws useful,or are juz a troublesome mouthful?

No one is/should be any more or less than another based on colour, gender, or wealth/status. All Man stand on equal ground. There is/should be no superiority or inferiority in racial and sexual differences. And no one is due any more respect than another by virtue of being any richer or of a higher social status.

Injustice

All heroes and superheroes fight for one thing. And that is Justice. Justice in our actions. To do others justice. To do ourselves justice.

Racism

“A black Italian does not exist,” read a soccer banner put up by some Italian soccer fans, in discrimination against their own black Italian soccer players. Racism and the ideas of racism have, through the evolution of our history, become ideology subconsciously or unconsciously imprinted in our mindsets. No, they are not superior, not any better. No, they are not inferior, not any worse. No, that’s only what you think. Dream on. We can’t change out history. But we can determine our future. Racism and racial superiority is a myth held on faithfully, clung onto tightly by those deemed superior by such a myth for fear of losing that supposed superiority. Awareness of our history and how such a myth came about helps stem out racism from our system; ignorance and lack of awareness perpetuate it.

Colonialism/ Colonisation Oppression Marginalisation

No more coloniser/colonised, no more master/slave, no more colonised people, no more colonised minds.

Disrespect

Respect is earned. Basic respect is given. And mutual, ideally. When you respect others, you respect yourself.

Religious Discrimination/ Intolerance/ Elitism

“You know what, I’m a Christian,” was one unfortunate incident that happened to me years back. As if to say, “I’m an angel. I won’t lie.” A black sheep, I would say. Religion: Nil as yet. I have always believed not so much “religion” itself, but more Man’s “need for religion”. Something supernatural to guide us, tiny individuals amidst the vast universe. Well, all (non-extremist) religion teach good, have their own beliefs, and their own rituals. One religion does not judge another, and has no right. Taoists burn joss papers and cars and houses for their deceased loved ones and it’s a very heartwarming gesture; Muslims don’t eat pork; Buddhists don’t eat beef; Christians chew on biscuit and sip syrup symbolic of Jesus’ flesh and blood in a meaningful ritual ceremony. Discrimination, intolerance, and elitism are derived from self-centredness and self-righteousness, ignorance and lack of understanding. Why do we have to vie for superiority in all aspects of life, even religion which is a very personal thing? Boils down to respect. All (non-extremist) religion teach good; each, with its own heaven.

Wrongs.Who are humans....to decide...on setting...wats wrong and wats rite?Rules...WHO made dem? WHO decided on the rules laid out on one's life? Power...WHO gave dat to the people hu enjoy power and relish it?WHO meted out fairness in life?WHO decided on wat our path was?Is it up to the setter to determine our road?WHO granted us peace,joy,anger,forgiveness,hatred and all the other emotions?WHO was it dat created problems...awaiting humans to solve? WHO was it that caused sorrow to RAMPAGE over the world?WHO was it dat decided to force Africa,Cambodia and all the 3rd world ountries in bloody hell wars and Rubbish dumps?WHO was it dat blinked our mistakes and wrongs out into the open...and allowed our enemies to salvage over dem?WHO?WHO DID ALL OF THESE? WHO the BLOODY HELL THOUGHT OF THE IDEA OF HAVING BLOODY TEACHERS TEACH US WORK AND BLOODY PARENTS HU MURDER THEIR CHILDREN? wHO THE BLOODY HELL DECREEDED DAT BLACKS WERE BAD? WHO THE BLOODY HELL CAN ANSWER ME?
